Support Women-Owned Businesses: Empowerment and Equality create dynamic and vibrant communities.

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we want to encourage you to support women-owned businesses.  Why? When you invest in women-owned businesses, you are also investing in women’s economic empowerment, equality, and entrepreneurship. Supporting women-owned brands also creates a dynamic and vibrant local community with a flavor all its own. It’s the smart choice that is both economically sound and socially conscious.

Join GROWTH by NCRC in celebrating women entrepreneurs during National Women’s History Month and beyond!  We’ve curated a list of a few of our favorite women-owned brands and businesses in the markets we currently serve.  Check out the list below to locate a business near you.   

  • The Hair Café, Atlanta, GA.  Premier salon offering a full line of services and specializing in sew-ins, hydration treatments, and accessories. 
  • Jibarito Stop, Chicago, IL.  Created in 2012 by Cely Rodriguez and Moraima Fuentes, the Jibarito Stop is a vibrant restaurant serving Puerto Rican fare in Chicago’s vibrant Pilsen neighborhood.
